Ang Paboritong Libro Ni Hudas
This is the title of the book of Bob Ong. I heard about the author when my classmate Leslie Morales got her copy of Bob Ong’s Stainless Longganisa. I tried to read it and I was amused. It was September 14 when my friend Kris invited me to her birthday bash. An eat-all-you-can at Iron Horse. Before I went there, I dropped by Gaisano Mall to buy a copy of Bob Ong’s book. I already told my mom about this and she approved it. Since it was my own money. I read this book for 2 days and I was certainly amused by the articles/stories that he wrote there. Not bad for the great Bob Ong. His writing is quite different from other writers. He wrote in Tagalog so that 99.9% of the Filipinos can understand him. While reading, I can’t stop laughing. It’s like there’s a punch line for some serious essays. Even my mom was amused. She always smiles while she read the book.
If you want to know what I mean, buy any copy of Bob Ong’s books and you’ll surely laugh. Just remember to read at home or in school. You don’t want to impress other people that you are crazy.
