Another Chapter

PARIS - Arctic ice has shrunk to the lowest level on record, new satellite images show, raising the possibility that the Northwest Passage that eluded famous explorers will become an open shipping lane.

The European Space Agency said nearly 200 satellite photos this month taken together showed an ice-free passage along northern Canada, Alaska and Greenland, and ice retreating to its lowest level since such images were first taken in 1978.

The waters are exposing unexplored resources, and vessels could trim thousands of miles from Europe to Asia by bypassing the Panama Canal.

I’ve finally updated my blog. After a while of no Internet at home, the busy times at home, I’ve finally done it. Anyway, ever wondering what’s with my title? As you can see, I’ve been to an Internet cafe in our neighborhood. We tried to download a game in one of the computers but we were caught. It’s OK for me to be told not to do it again but the owner which in fact, her parents is the friend of my parents keeps on repeating and repeating the same statement over and over.

It started when I woke up in the morning. 6:00 am to be exact. I hurriedly ate my breakfast because I’m to excited to experience and see Tacurong for the 1^st time. My mom and I went to the office to wait for transportation. As we started the long journey to Cotabato, I started to wonder what it feels like to be there. Especially to the people in that community.

Kahalagahan at Kasamaan ng Kompyuter

Maraming kahalagahan at kasamaan ang kompyuter. Kahit nakakabuti ang kompyuter. Kahit nakakabuti ang kompyuter sa pamumuhay ng tao, hindi maiiwasan ng magkaroon ng salot. Ang kompyuter ayon sa Wikipedia ay isang bagay na kung saan pinoproseso nito ang isang datos ayon sa kanyang panuto. Ang kompyuter ay hindi gagana kung walang panuto mula sa isang gumagamit.

Yey… I’ve received my WordCamp ID a while ago from Sir Blogie. I’ll just print it out and laminate it for Sept. 4’s WordCamp here in Davao City. I can’t wait for WordCamp Philippines 2008. I’ve been dying to see this and hoping that 1 day, it would be here in the Philippines. And it did come the time when WordCamp is here in the Philippines plus a mini-Camp here in Davao.

The event would start from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and I hope I would see Matt Mullenweg, the creator of WordPress here in Davao.
