Anti-virus Program Review

Computer virus is rampant now a days. Actually, it moves fast at the same pace with technology. How do you combat this computer viruses? Wait, before that, what is a computer virus? Computer virus is a program. Not a disease. You don’t get computer virus from dust in your computer case (which is my mentality when I was little). It’s a program consist of codes varying from deploying malicious codes in your computer, degrading your internet connection, changing your registry, hiding particular Windows feature, and much more.

Internet Browser Review

Published by Jayvee under Computer

As you can see, we use internet browsers to surf the net. Whether your checking your mail or looking for new videos at Youtube or surfing the (ahem) websites. Me? I’ve used 3 internet browsers. Namely Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Apple Safari. 3 of the most widely used browsers today.

Let me start off with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Microsoft’s “new” browser named IE7 or Internet Explorer 7 is the must upgrade for users using IE.

Busy Week

Published by Jayvee under Computer, Websites

I have a Frozen Throne game here at home and you expect me to play Campaign ang Skirmish games? No way. Why? I’m too tired repeating that same Campaign over and over again. I can’t stand it anymore. Anyway, what is DotA. DotA stands for Defense of the Ancients.

Attention Linux Users

Note to new Linux users: No antivirus needed

By Joe Barr on February 26, 2007 (8:00:00 AM)

One of the most common questions I hear new Linux users ask is “What program should I use for virus protection?” Many of them lose faith in me as a source of security information when I reply, “None.” But you really don’t need to fear malware on your new platform, thanks to the way Linux is built.

Savvy Windows users have to watch their virus checkers as closely as the head nurse in the ICU keeps an eye on patient monitors.
