I usually get a lot of emails in my inbox. One of the culprit in filling my inbox everyday is Multiply. I’ve recently moved to Multiply because of Flickr’s “recent 200 images” if you’re over 200 photos in your photostream. I’m not mad or anything but all I want is to post all my images.
We are a bit off the topic but anyway, I don’t read my email that often. This mail caught my attention.

Yey… I’ve received my WordCamp ID a while ago from Sir Blogie. I’ll just print it out and laminate it for Sept. 4’s WordCamp here in Davao City. I can’t wait for WordCamp Philippines 2008. I’ve been dying to see this and hoping that 1 day, it would be here in the Philippines. And it did come the time when WordCamp is here in the Philippines plus a mini-Camp here in Davao.
The event would start from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and I hope I would see Matt Mullenweg, the creator of WordPress here in Davao.

I’ve been using Disqus comment system since I don’t know when. I think I’ve got it through email and I’ve installed it on my WordPress blog. Since I don’t have time to fiddle around with the system a bit, I just left is as it is. Today, since me and Kuya Mick do a lot comment back here on my blog, I didn’t hesitate to explore more on Disqus. I’ve tweaked and change the system a bit.

My WordPress Installation didn’t alert me to upgrade my blog to WordPress 2.6.1 but that one is out but a Beta though. I don’t know if I’m gonna download it or not but I’ll wait before the official 2.6.1 is out. I’ll just keep an eye on WordPress Trac to see the progress of WordPress 2.6.1 as well as WordPress 2.7.

I’ve registered myself in joining the mini-WordCamp here in Davao City. My intent in joining this said activity is to meet my fellow bloggers, to meet with Matt, the creator of WordPress and to know more about WordPress. I’ve been using WordPress for quite a while. My friends, who are bloggers, do use WordPress. WordPress has been growing more popular in the past few years. I have registered for the mini-WordCamp here in Davao, are you registered too?
