Test and Exams
Damn. I had my examination on Philippine Constitution and Communication Theory and I say that my exams are quite hard. Plus the Quiz on my Retorika (Filipino) subject which is pain because I don’t know most of the idioms in it. I really, really hate idioms. They bug me all the time. It’s kind of disappointing because you made the best you can and still can’t achieve it. My classmates are bothered with the Filipino project wherein you must accomplish a double spaced, 3 pages, Filipino paper. With the given thought, my head burst in agony because I don’t speak Filipino and it’s a very difficult task especially if you’re speaking Cebuano.
Here’s the chronological events which made me frustrate the day. First, I arrived school just in time to review my Philippine Constitution subject. I met my classmate Ralph in which we went to the classroom together. We reviewed and studied our Phil. Con. subject. When our facilitator arrived, we fix ourselves for the exam. When I received my test paper, I or we were shocked to see that most of the questions of the exam are not or was not in line with what we’ve studied. After a while or so, the test became more difficult. I haven’t answered most of the test items which frustrates me. Aside from the exam, we had our quiz which must be written on a separate sheet of paper. Damn, I wasn’t expecting that to happen. We were very tired from making our Filipino paper and here’s the Phil. Con. killing us to death.
After Phil. Con., we had our Filipino in which we passed our paper and the professor gave us our quiz. Not much, though it’s hard since it’s mostly idioms and it bothers me a lot.
After Filipino, we had our final exam; and that is Communication Theory. It’s our major subject and it’s 100 items. We’ve “burned our eyelashes” just to focus on this type of exam. It’s fine at first then when we have our final items to be answered on. Test [something], Set B, I have the difficulty in answering it since it all about theories and most of the questions were at the middle or at the very core of the theory. I haven’t studied much on the details because I need to know the theorist and the theory itself.
After this incident, I’ve realized that I should be focusing on the details because I wouldn’t know the basis and fact about this theory. Again, I must study and study hard. And please, professors, don’t bombard us with long exams. I mean, if you cover up a lot of topics, please don’t give sh*t to get our asses working. We’re not animals and be considerate with our schedule. Please, bear with us. We’re just students and we’re exhausting ourselves just to pass the requirment/s on your subject.
